Tuesday Update

Whew! The resident meeting lasted 2 hours this evening!  After two hours mama did not feel like sticking around for refreshments, so she left. Tomorrow she will have to go out into the cold without any food.  She has tests to do at the clinic which she has to fast before. So she is going as early as she can, and will be there til late afternoon. See, she has to fast, but her appointments are in the afternoon. So she is planning on a scone or muffin or something after the test, and reading a book. Then they have a cafeteria at this clinic so she will have lunch there.  She has eaten there before and it's pretty good, she said. They have nice windows to look out of, too.
So that means I will be snuggling all day tomorrow so that I can thaw mama  out when she gets home.
Efurrybody stay really warm.
love,
brandi

Good luck to your mom today! I'm sure she'll be happy to come home and have you waiting with kitty kisses and purrs and snuggles.

Poor mom! Our mom's doctor makes her do yearly blood tests as part of her physical and then she has to fast. My mom hates going out hungry too. She carries a power bar/candy bar in her purse so she won't have to starve after the blood tests.

We all hope your mom's tests come out great and that she doesn't starve before she gets home.

I'm sorry your mommy has to go out in the cold today. I am very glad we are indoor only kitties so we don't have to be cold. It is doubly bad she couldn't have any food before she goes!

We hope she isn't having any trouble with her insurants. They can be mean at those places.

I am glad you're spending the day snuggling with your mommy to keep her warm. That is so nice of you.

Thanks to your mommy and to you for the yummy dentabites on New Year's Eve. Thank you too for letting me come over. It was a great way to ring in the new year! Wishing you both a happy, healthy 2010. purrrrrrs
